This session will explore how leadership knowledge and skills are developed over time across both the commercial real estate and not-for-profit sectors, ensuring they are practical and adaptable in different settings. We’ll focus on the essentials of leadership—presence, communication, and humility—while also considering future skills including how AI is reshaping careers over the next decade. Leaders must learn to master their uniqueness, build confidence in their delivery, and use tools that help them stay focused. 
 
Participants will also learn strategies for setting clear team goals, defining roles, assessing cultural fit, and fostering collaboration to strengthen performance and tenant satisfaction.
 
Learning Objectives—At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
  • Recognize the core traits of effective leadership, including presence, communication, humility, and confidence.
