2026 Charitable CampaignEach year, BOMA International works with the host city where the BOMA International Conference & Expo is being held to support a local charitable organization through an annual charitable campaign. In partnership with BOMA Greater Los Angeles, the 2026 charity is The People Concern.
The People Concern empowers the most vulnerable in Los Angeles County to rebuild their lives. Formed in 2016 through the merger of OPCC and Lamp Community, the agency draws on more than sixty years of experience to provide evidence‑based solutions to homelessness and domestic violence.
Their services include outreach, interim housing, mental and medical health services, substance abuse treatment, domestic violence support, life skills, wellness programs, pet support, and permanent supportive housing—tailored to the needs of homeless individuals, survivors of domestic violence, youth, and others with nowhere else to turn.
This comprehensive model helps participants overcome obstacles, achieve stability, and reconnect with their communities.
Now through July 1, 2026, the BOMA Foundation is soliciting funds for The People Concern. Our goal is to collect $10,000 for the charity.
The funds raised will be used to support initiatives that assist those experiencing homelessness in the Greater Los Angeles area. If more than the $10,000 goal is achieved, the BOMA Foundation will retain any balance and use it to support Emerging Professionals scholarship opportunities.
