BOMA International and BOMI are pleased to offer the Mastering the Budget MicroCredential Program at the 2026 BOMA International Conference & Expo. Mastering the Budget is a targeted MicroCredential for property and facilities professionals looking to strengthen their budgeting and financial planning skills. Through five focused ShortCourses offered during this full day program, you’ll gain practical tools to manage building finances with confidence. The program covers income and expense budgets, cost control, capital planning, and cash accounting. Upon completion you'll earn the Mastering the Budget MicroCredential, demonstrating your expertise in property management budgeting. The Mastering the Budget MicroCredential includes these ShortCourses:

• Developing an Income Budget
• Controlling costs
• Capital Budgeting
• Expense Budgeting
• Preparing the Cash Basis Income Statement
   

What is a MicroCredential?

If you don't have the time for a full certificate or designation right now, you can still keep learning and advance your career with the new BOMI MicroCredentials. Once you've completed a MicroCredential program you will earn a digital badge, which contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them. BOMI ShortCourses and MicroCredentials are available through our online learning portal, but this is your chance to earn the Mastering the Budget MicroCredential in one day with in-person instruction and peer interaction.

You may register for the Mastering the Budget MicroCredential program on Saturday, June 27 as an add-on to your conference registration, or you may register for the MicroCredential program only. Please see below for registration instructions.

Non-member: $279 

MicroCredential Program only without registering for the conference: 
BOMA Member: $329
Non-member: $379 

• If you have not yet registered for the conference, you may add the Mastering the Budget MicroCredential Program when you register.
• To add the Master the Budget MicroCredential Program to your existing conference registration, please go to your attendee dashboard, enter last name and email. Once in the dashboard, select the "View Optional Events/Payment Info" tab on the left side, then on the right-side click the "Add/Edit Optional Events" button.
• If you would like to purchase the Budget MicroCredential Program, please start a new registration and follow the prompts to select the MicroCredential Program Only.
